BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby closed and abandoned alleys located northeast of east 44th Street, between 12th Avenue and 13th Avenue, and southeast of 14th Avenue, between East 44th Street and East 45th Street, more particularly described herein, and as shown on plat attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference: Part of a 20 foot wide alleyway. To find the true point of beginning of said part of alley, start on the northeast line of East 44th Street 130 feet southeast of the intersection of the northeast line of East 44th Street with the southeast line of 12th Avenue, thence northeast 102.6 feet to the true point of beginning, thence continuing northeast 50 feet to the southwest line of lot 32, block 2, Coulter's Addition to East End, as shown by plat of record in plat book 2, page 9, R.O.H.C., thence with the southwest line of said lot 32, and continuing with the southwest line of lot 19, block 2, said subdivision, southeast 20 feet, thence southwest 50 feet, thence northwest 20 feet to the true point of beginning. Said alleyway separates the southeast 130 feet of lot 18, block 2, said Coulter's Addition, from the northwest 130 feet of lot 33, block 2, said subdivision. Part of a 15 foot wide alleyway. To find the true point of beginning of said part of alley, start on the southeast line of 14th Avenue 90.2 feet southwest of the intersection of the southeast line of 14th Avenue with the southwest line of East 44th Street, thence southeast 187.86 feet to the northwest corner of lot 234, Second Amended Plat of Cedar Hill, as shown by plat of record in plat book 6, page 54, R.O.H.C., thence continuing southeast 50 feet with the southwest line of said lot 234 to the southwest corner thereof, thence southwest 15 feet to the southeast corner of lot 226, said subdivision, thence northwest 50 feet with the northeast line of said lot 226 to the northeast corner thereof, thence northeast 15 feet to the northwest corner of said lot 234, the point of beginning. Said alleyway separates lot 226 from lot 234, said Cedar Hill subdivision. Tax Map No. 168J-H-25 and 29, and 168J-R-13 and 26. SECTION 2. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this closure and abandonment is made subject to the following conditions: 1. Reservation of an easement the width of the right-of-way for South Central Bell for the purpose of operating and maintaining its facilities in said right-of-way. 2. The areas reserved for utility easements must be kept free and clear of all structures. 3. All existing easements are retained. SECTION 3.
